Obituary of Andy Lockhart

 Altamont, Tennessee – Mr. Andy Lockhart, 86, passed away Sunday June 9, 2019 at the Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  He was born in Altamont, Tennessee on January 26, 1933 to Allen and Octa Whitman Lockhart who preceded him in death along with his grandson, Kylie Richardson; sisters, Charity Norris and Geneva Campbell; brothers, George, C.B. “Kink” and John Lockhart.

He was a member of the Church of Christ at Altamont.  He was a Korean Conflict veteran of the United State Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Blondell Northcutt Lockhart; sons, Craig Lockhart and Derwin (Lena) Lockhart; daughter, Evette (Kenny) Sanders; sisters, Stella (Scenon) Turner and Veola Hiett; grandchildren,
Andy, Ashley, Tyler, Brittany, Kayleah, Autumn, Miranda, Blake and Zachary; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Willie Childers officiating with burial to follow in the Altamont
