Obituary of Elizabeth Jane Nunley

Tracy City, Tennessee – Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Nunley, 73, passed away Sunday August 11, 2019 at her sisters home in Skymont with her family at her bedside.  She was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on September 11, 1945 to Arthur Lee Sanders and Mildred Frances Morgan who preceded her in death along with her husband, Charlie Nunley Jr.; brother, David and Lee Sanders.

She loved being outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing, digging Ginseng and loved nature. 

She is survived by her son, Bobby Nunley (Angela Leuthausser); daughter, Beverly (John) Dixon; brothers, William (Jonah) Sanders, Joe (Shirley) Sanders and Gary Sanders; sisters, Frances Tate, Sue (Leroy) Meeks, Shirley Mills, Mae Sanders, Jean Campbell and Loretta (Walter) Cantrell.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Andy Lockhart officiating with burial to follow in the Bonnie Oaks Cemetery.  Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
