Obituary of Grace E. Caldwell

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee - Mrs. Grace E. Caldwell, 66, passed away Wednesday Sept. 18, 2019 at NHC Sequatchie nursing home with loved ones by her side.

Grace was born in Altamont, Tennessee on Oct. 27, 1952 to Clay and Edith McDaniel who proceeded her in death along with her son Craig Caldwell, daughter Audrey Lynn Caldwell, son Rex Allen Caldwell, sisters Carylon Turner, Ann Byers, Nora Bell Cribb, brothers William Hardy Cox, Reggie McDaniel and Dick Prince.

Grace worked at Shaw Industries for many years.  She enjoyed reading, sewing and yard sales.

She is survived by her husband Willis “Alton” Caldwell, son Russell (Tiffany) Caldwell, daughter Crystal (Chad) Stiefel, son Josh (Crystal) Caldwell, grandchildren; Jacob Caldwell, Ethan Caldwell, Trinity Caldwell, Courtney (Stephen) Bird, Daniel (Baylee) Stiefel, Kristen Stiefel, Will Caldwell, Coleman Caldwell, Matthew Caldwell, Kyle Caldwell, Brendon Caldwell, Cody Sanders, J.P. Sanders, Savannah Caldwell, sisters; Marie Meeks, Susan Wyatt, Christine Caldwell, brothers; Gaylon McDaniel, Connie Ray (Audra) Cox, Eulice McDaniel and a host of nieces and nephews.

A private service was held with the family.
