Obituary of Moss Campbell

 Altamont, Tennessee – Mr. Moss Campbell, 85, passed away Thursday October 17, 2019 at his home with his family at his bedside.  He was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on May 7, 1934 to Oddist and Kate Nunley Campbell who preceded him in death along with his sisters, Johnnie Fredrick and Willie Kate Richard; brothers, Cedric, Allen “Eck” and Webb Campbell.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at Altamont and was a retired custodian from North Elementary School.

He is survived by his wife, Alene Killian Campbell; daughter, Beverly (Russell) Myers; son, Wade (Patricia) Campbell; grandchildren, Kelly Myers, Kristy (Adam) Campbell, Zackary Myers, Dustin Campbell and Casey Campbell; great grandchildren, Elijah, Isaac, Kaylin and Gage Campbell; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at the Altamont Cemetery with Bro. Aaron Barrett officiating.  Visitation: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
