Obituary of Mildred Jewell Stewart

Coalmont, Tennessee – Mrs. Mildred Jewell Nunley Stewart passed away peacefully at her home in Coalmont, Tennessee on Sunday January 26th a few days before her 89th Birthday. Jewell was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on January 30, 1931 to Charles E. and Carrie Parson Nunley who preceded her in death along with her husband Rev. Harvey Stewart; son Danny Stewart; brother C.W. Nunley; sisters Ann Haney, Thelma Davidson, Elsie Disheroon, and Carlene Smartt. Jewell grew up singing with her sisters, and later served with her husband Harvey in area churches. She is survived by her sons, Donnie (Shelia) Stewart, and her faithful caregiver Kenneth Stewart; grandson Donovan (Kristi) Stewart; great grandchildren, Kyla, Konner and Kohl Stewart, sister, Mary (Thomas) Rollins; several nieces and nephews. Reverends John Potts and Danny Coffelt will be conducting the funeral service at the funeral home at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday January 29, 2020 with burial following in Fall Creek Cemetery.
