Altamont, Tennessee – Mrs. Phyllis C, King, 72, passed away Monday February 17, 2020 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, Tennessee. She was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on February 28, 1947 to Celo and Pearl Sweeton Campbell who preceded her in death along with her husband, Willie Joe King; brother, Kenson Campbell; sisters, Mona and Gretta Campbell.
She is survived by her daughter, Twana (Wade) Odom; son, Von Perry; step-children, Jody King, Joann Comfort and Penny Acuna; sisters, Jona (William) Sanders, Dean Perry, Alice Meeks and Pam Phipps; brothers, Dennis, Baily, Autry and Pernel Campbell; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a host of step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the King Cemetery. Visitation: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
