Obituary of Billy Gerald Potts

Palmer, Tennessee – Mr. Billy Gerald “Ricky” Potts, 62, won his race, Thursday February 20, 2020 at his home in Griffiths Creek. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on December 14, 1957. He was of the Methodist faith. He worked across the southeast as a roofer. His favorite all time Nascar driver was Rusty Wallace. He loved Nascar and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norna Mae and Rod Campbell; brother, Rodney Campbell; sister, Debbie Potts; brother-in-law, Gary Anderson. He is survived by his son, Roger and Timmy Davenport, Whitwell, TN; sisters, Jeannie (Buddy) Richardson and Audrey Anderson; brother, Ronald (Rita) Potts; grandchildren, Kailie, Trevor, Blake and Carson; nieces and nephews, Rebekah, Norman, Jeremy, Tabitha, Justin, Valerie, Josh, Steven, Alivia, Jill and Charity; a host of great nieces and nephews; special friends, Timmy and Rhonda; special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga, Jasper area: Keelie, Eady, Maggie, Evan and Todd. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Jeremy Robinson and R.B. Slatton officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.
