Obituary of Martha Jane Oliver

Beersheba Springs, Tennessee – Mrs. Martha Jane “Janie” Oliver, 71, passed away Sunday March 8, 2020 at her home. She was born in Warren County on March 11, 1948 to Jay and Lassie Clendenon Hobbs who preceded her in death along with her sister, Geraldine (Bill) Bowden; daughter, Teresa “Tweety” Tate. She was a Christian and had been attending Antioch Baptist Church until her health declined. She is survived by her husband, Paul Oliver; daughter, Paula (Les) Woodlee; brothers, Carl David (Cathrin) Hobbs, Jim Hobbs and Morris (Elija) Hobbs; sisters, Fay (Randall) Barrett and Barbara Smith; grandchildren, Steven Tate and Jordan Woodlee; great grandchild, Kiera Tate; a host of nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Pam Bess. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Larry Campbell officiating with burial to follow in the Oliver Family Cemetery.
