Obituary of Charles Martin Meeks

Tracy City, Tennessee – Mr. Robert Martin Meeks, 72, passed away Friday March 13, 2020 at his home with his wife of 48 years by his side. He was a devoted family man, wonderful loving husband, dad and papa to his wife, children and grandchildren. He was born in Flat Branch on October 2, 1947 to the late James and Delia Sanders Meeks who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Floyd and Wilson Meeks. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Katherine Miller Meeks; son, Robbie (Shannon) Meeks; daughter, Roneta (Clint) Nunley; grandchildren, Jacob Nunley, Haleigh Ferrell, Kaytlin Nunley, Breanna Meeks and Trey Nunley; brothers, Bud and Clay Meeks; sisters, Mary Meeks and Linda Harriman; several nieces and nephews; very special brother-in-law, Jim (Betty) Miller. His body was donated to science at his request in hopes of helping other people suffering from the same type of cancer he was diagnosed with to find a cure. There will be no public service.
