Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Barbara Jean Nolan, 76, passed away, Monday, May 25, 2020 at her home. She was born in Loon Lake, New York on August 23, 1943 to Theodore and Grace Demo Leon who preceded her in death along with her husband, Jimmy Nolan; brothers, Donald and Tom Leon.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee.
She is survived by her children, Laura (Late Tony) Newson, Catherine (Darrell) Gipson, Shawn (Denise) Willoughby, Daniel (Tammy) Willoughby, John (Freda) Nolan, James (Claudette) Nolan, William Lee “Bill” Nolan and Elizabeth Suzie (Duncan) Chambers; 22 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Cary Gomer and Daniel Willoughby officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
