Obituary of Leonard A. Tidwell

Altamont, Tennessee – Mr. Leonard A. Tidwell Jr., 79, passed away Tuesday June 16, 2020 at his home. He was born in Fairview, Tennessee on February 11, 1941 to Leonard Tidwell, Sr. and Lula Mae Garton Tidwell who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Roy, Johnson, Joe, Jimmie and Leroy Tidwell. He was a US Army veteran of Vietnam and was retired from the United States Postal Service. He is survived by his wife, Doris Pickett Tidwell; son, Daniel Tidwell, Plano, Texas; daughter, Sandra Tidwell, Nashville, Tennessee; a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at the Bonny Oaks Cemetery with Minister Tony King officiating with Military Honors.
