Obituary of Jeffery Rodney Givens

Whitwell, Tennessee – Mr. Jeffery Rodney “Bogart” Givens, 62, passed away Saturday August 22, 2020 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on July 14, 1958 to Ralph Givens and Helen Nolan Givens who preceded him in death.

He was an automobile mechanic at Dempsey’s Service Center until his health declined.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy Kilgore Givens; son, Jamie and his wife, Brittany; daughters, Ashley, BreAnn and Susie; brother, Darrell and his wife, Buncie; sisters, Darlene and Reba and her husband, Doug; grandson, Noah; several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, Paula (Bill) Shipley.

Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at the Fall Creek Cemetery with Minister Delbert Layne officiating. 

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
