Beersheba Springs, Tennessee – Mr. Roy Douglas King, 73, passed away Thursday October 1, 2020 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.  He was born in Beersheba Springs, Tennessee on September 11, 1947 to Richard Howell King and Hassie Lucille Knight who preceded in death along with his brother, Billy Deon King; sister, Selma Braseel; granddaughter, Lindley Bryant.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa King; son, Troy King; sister, Reba Hill; brothers, Leslie (Hazel) King and Jerry (Mary) King; grandchildren, Kaelyn (Kyle) Roberson, Lynden and Stevie King; great granddaughter, Nora Bray Roberson; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements by Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
