Obituary of Dorothy Jean Fults

 Altamont, Tennessee – Mrs. Dorothy Jean Fults, 89, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020. She was a member of the Altamont Church of Christ. She was born in Altamont, TN on September 8, 1931 to  Buford and Sarah Scott Tate who preceded her in death along with her daughter, Shirley Wanamaker; brother, Sherman Tate.

She is survived by her daughters, Edna (Dale) Anderson and Norma (Larry Myers) Fults; brothers, Richard (late Christine), Linuel (Mildred), Phillip and David (Kathy) Tate; sisters, Ruth (Lloyd) McGee, Jewell (Ronnie) Akins and Annie Mae (late Norman “Cotton”) King; grandchildren, Melissa (Terry), Jeremy (Jade), Travis (Beth), Sandy and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Brianna, Brantley, Skylar, Colby, Braxton, Kane, Kade, Keera, Lexie and Hayden; great-great-grandchildren, Zayde, Atticus, Axton,  Layana, Mason and Finley; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be Monday in the Altamont Cemetery with Minister Dean Northcutt officiating.
