Obituary of Linda Davis

Altamont, Tennessee – Mrs. Linda Irene Fults Davis, age 68, of Beersheeba Springs, TN, passed from this life on December 12, 2020, in Sewanee, TN.

Mrs. Davis was born in Beersheeba Springs, TN, to her late parents Ruben Fults and Velma Irene King Fults. She was a faithful member of the Church of God in Altamont, TN. Mrs. Davis enjoyed working on her puzzle books and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Preston Fults and Grady Fults; sister, Hassie Harper.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 51 years, LD Davis; son, Roy Levan Davis; daughters, Nellie (William) Myers and April (Brian) Dickerson; brothers, Homer Fults, Ruben Fults, and Stanley Fults; sisters, Nellie Marie King; grandchildren, Subrina Ferrell, John Myers, Dylan Dickerson, and Dustin Dickerson; great grandchilren, Kaylan Myers, Kyla Myers, and Kayden Ferrell.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Layne Funeral Home in Altamont. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at 2:00pm from the chapel of Layne Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in King Cemetery.
