Obituary of Kimberly MIchell Scruggs

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Ms. Kimberly Michell Scruggs, 44, passed away Wednesday January 20, 2021 at the Emerald Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee, Tennessee. She was born in Altamont, Tennessee on July 12, 1976.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Lynn Scruggs; grandparents, John and Mae Scruggs, Isham and Agnes Hobbs.

She is survived by her parents, James and Elfa Hobbs Scruggs; daughter, Skyler Reed; sister, Brandy Scruggs; nephew, Dominick Scruggs; several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers George Bryant and Charlie Meeks officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
