Palmer - Mrs. Carolyn Ruth Turner, 58, passed away Sunday April 28, 2013. She was born in Altamont on September 3, 1954 to Clay and Edith Bone McDaniel who preceded her in death along with her son, Tony Sanders; brothers, William Hardy Cox, Reggie McDaniel and Dick Prince; sister, Ann Byers. She is survived by her sons, Duke (Carrie) Turner and Steve (Fatima) Turner; companion, Mike Withorne; grandchildren, Alexis, Ty and Tanner Sanders, Alec, Kassy, Kage, Stephen and Nate Turner; sisters, Grace (Alton) Caldwell, Marie Meeks, Nora Bell Cribb, Susan Wyatt and Christine Caldwell; brothers, Gaylon McDaniel, Connie Ray (Audra) Cox and Eulice McDaniel; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Swiss Colony Cemetery.
