We didn’t know Mildred but have come to love one of her granddaughters, Madison, who was very moved by her passing. If it is important to Madison, then it is important to us. If Madison is forlorn, then we grieve with her. On behalf of the Rose children, we would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to Madison as well as the friends and family who will miss Mildred and cherish her memory.

Dear grandma, I love you with all of my heart and soul and I miss you even more so. You took care of me when I needed care the most and accepted me into your home and life as if I were your family. I know you're up there with Paul now but I miss you dearly. I'm so glad I got to see you and talk to you as often as I could. And I am so glad that the last time we talked you with with Doris happily eating grapes and watching tv. I will forever miss your hugs, kisses and I love you's. Rest in peace you sweet, loving, caring soul. The lord has a very happy soul next to him now.
