GRUETLI-LAAGER - Mrs. Ernestine Gilbert, 74, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013. She was born in Paynes Cove on February 18, 1939 to Francis M. and Maggie M. Fults Roberts who preceded her in death along with her husband, John Thomas Gilbert; brothers, Lemuel "Pudd", Leonard and Louie Roberts; sisters, Esther Long, Elene Roberts and Edna Meeks. She is survived by her daughter, Sue (Billy) Thomas; sisters, Elvia Gilbert and Eva Ruth Smith of Silvis, IL and Eula Elizabeth Hrenko, Mentor, OH; a loyal, loving and compassionate caregiver, Donna Solomon, who we appreciated dearly; a host of loving nieces and nephews Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Fall Creek Cemetery with Bro.
