Monteagle, Tennessee – Mr. Gregory Garland Scissom, 59, passed away Friday September 24, 2021 at his home. He was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on February 23, 1962.
He was a bolier maker and was a member of the Local 454 Boiler makers union in Chattanooga. He served in the Tennessee National Guard.
He is survived by his daughter, Shawnee Brooke Scissom; parents, Chester and Lucille Campbell Scissom; brother, Jeffery Stewart Scissom.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Palmer Cemetery with Bro. Claude Hoback officiating.
