Obituary of William Conway Comfort

McMinnville, Tennessee – Mr. William Conway Comfort, 92, passed away Sunday September 26, 2021, at his home with his family at his bedside.  He was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota on August 21, 1929, to James Comfort and Grace Tate Comfort who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Darlene Comfort.

He was a US Air Force  veteran and a Nursery worker.

He is survived by his wife, Lola Mae Fults Comfort; sons, Charles, Jimmy, Jerry, Ricky (Mary), and Larry (Patricia) Comfort; daughters, Lesia King, Lorie (Kenny) King and Misty Comfort; 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday the Three Crosses at Calvary Church with Ministers Ed Fults Sr. and Ed Fults Jr. officiating with burial to follow at the Philadelphia Cemetery.

Visitation: 12:00 Noon – 9:00 PM Monday at the Three Crosses at Calvary Church in Altamont, Tennessee.
