Obituary of Clint Bodie Bess

Altamont, Tennessee – Mr. Clint Bodie Bess, 64, passed away Friday October 15, 2021 at the Southern Tennessee Hospital in Sewanee, Tennessee.  He was born in Cumberland Heights, Tennessee on June 22, 1957.

He was preceded in death by his father, Basil Bess; sons, Christopher Brian Bess and David Wayne Bess; brother, Roger Dale Bess.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Meeks Bess; son, Scott Cody (Jordan Rice) Bess; mother, Mary Elizabeth Lockhart Bess; brother, Shane (Mary Jo) Bess; grandson, Christopher Wayne Bess; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Dal Barrett officiating with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery.

Visitation: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Alamont, Tennessee.
