Obituary of Minnie Marie Mathis

Palmer - Mrs. Minnie Marie Mathis, 86, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Sunday June 30, 2013. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on October 12, 1926 to Will and Haley Kilgore Layne who preceded her in death along with her first husband, Ben McDonald, 2nd husband, Buford Campbell, husband, Ernest Lamar Mathis; sons, Don William and Charles McDonald; grandson, Edward McHone Jr; sisters, Jewell Dean, May and Odell Layne, Clara Henry; brothers, Barney, Ernest, Clarence, James and Roy Lee Layne. She is survived by her son, Ronald David (Carolyn) McDonald; daughters, Helen (Tony) Crisp, Betty (Edward) McHone and Brenda Campbell; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be 12:30 PM Tuesday at the Griffith's Creek Cemetery with Bro. Jim Bob Morrison and Bro. Ronnie Partin officiating.
