Obituary of Jamey Mae McDaniel

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Jamey Mae McDaniel, 48, passed away Friday April 1, 2022, at her home.  She was born in Dunlap, Tennessee on January 27, 1974.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Eugene Kilgore; grandmother, Anna Mae and Roland Green; mother and father-in-law, Melvin Richard and Nadine McDaniel.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Lee McDaniel; sons, Richard M. “Cecil” (Tayla) McDaniel, Altamont and Gregory K. (Alexis) McDaniel, Nashville; daughters, Stefanie L (Jacob) Salter, Dunlap and Marcy McDaniel (Trevor Sliger), Cookeville; mother, Ruth Ann Green Kilgore; brother, James H. (Jackie) Kilgore, Whitwell; granddaughter, Hermione Grace McDaniel; aunt, Lillie Worley, Whitwell.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.

Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
