Obituary of Mike Nance

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mr. Michael Lonnie “Mike” Nance, 56, passed away Sunday May 8, 2022, at his home.  He was born in Moline, Illinois on July 18, 1965.

He operated Nance’s Plumbing until his health declined.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jewelene Sanders Nance.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri Lynn Caldwell Nance, sons, Joshua, Chris and Jordan Nance; daughters, Jennifer (Zack) McCann and Julie Nance; father, Lonnie B. (Ina Faye) Nance; brother, Greg Nance; sisters, Sharon (Anthony) Meeks and Tammy Gipson; grandchildren, Zyler and Zayden McCann; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Lonnie B. Nance and Zack McCann officiating with burial to follow the Swiss Colony Cemetery.

Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
