Obituary of Douglas Merle Brown

MONTEAGLE, TN – Mr. Douglas Merle Brown, 49, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his home. He was born on July 11, 1972 in Clarion, PA. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving 8 years. He attended the Church of Christ in Altamont and Monteagle. He worked for Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Grundy County Sheriff’s Office.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Moran Brown; brother, Joe Billy Webb Brown.

He is survived by his brother, David (Sarah) Brown; step-sister, Peggy Brown; nieces and nephews, David, Christian, Ryan, Aaron, Elizabeth, Dwayne and Alliegh; great-nephew, Grayson; great-niece, Mia; father, Michael John Brown.

Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, June 25, 2022 in the chapel at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, TN

Visitation will be 1:00 PM until time of service at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, TN
