Obituary of Vanessa Regina Hobbs

Altamont, Tennessee – Mrs. Vanessa Regina Hobbs, 59, passed away Friday September 23, 2022, at her home.  She was born in Cumberland Heights, Tennessee on May 30, 1963.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Ruth Tate McGee.

She was a member of the Church of Christ at Altamont, Tennessee.

She is survived by her father, Loyd Ray McGee; son, Heath Hobbs; sisters, Valerie (Hollis) Ferrell, Velma McGee (Kenneth Lockhart) and Virginia (Jimmy) Ferrell; brothers, Virgil (Rebecca), Vic (Phoebe) and Stacy (Karen) McGee; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Gary Childers officiating with burial to follow in the Fults Cemetery.

Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
