Coalmont, Tennessee – Mr. Lawrence Russell Nunley, 68, passed away Thursday December 15, 2022, at the Elk River Nursing Home in Winchester, Tennessee.  He was born in Cumberland Heights, Tennessee on August 31, 1954, to Henry Howard Nunley and Mary Frances Baker Nunley who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Bruce and Preston Nunley.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Frisbee Nunley; daughters, Brandy (Chris) Brown, Amy (Glen) King, Abby Nunley and Tealisa (James) Borne; sons, Jeffery (Donna) Porterfield and Larry (Talisa) Porterfield; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Bill Frisbee officiating with burial to follow in the Walker Cemetery.

Visitation: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
