Obituary of Mildred Mae Yarworth

Altamont - Mrs. Mildred Cox Yarworth, 87, passed away Tuesday August 20, 2013. Mildred was of the Baptist faith. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on March 4, 1926 to Samuel Tate and Carrie Mae Stewart Tate who preceded her in death along with her sons, Paul Edward, Lannie and Jimmy Cox; granddaughters, Laura Ann Murdock and Meredith Cox; sisters, Ethel, Myrtle and Mary Katherine; brothers, Paul, Horace, Haskel, Herbert, Homer and Harley Tate. She is survived by her son, Jeff Cox; foster son, Michael Newman; grandchildren, Wayne Cox, Samantha Cates, Karen Grayson, Lisa Keener, Bridget Coppinger and Brittany Cox; daughters-in-law, Hope and Mae; 7 great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at the Palmer Cemetery with Minister Stanley Coppinger officiating.
