Obituary of Cindy Borne

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Cynthia Gay “Cindy” Borne, 62, passed away Sunday January 29, 2023 at her home with her family at her bedside.  She was born in Palmer, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Jackson Layne and Margie Juanita King Layne who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Marvin Leon and Clell Lyndon Layne; sisters, Teresa Diane King, Sonia Sanders and Lerosia Rose Anderson.

She is survived by her son, Kyle (Christa) Borne; daughter, Nikki Borne; brother, Thomas Douglas Layne; father of her children and caregiver, Donald R. Borne; caregiver, Lisa Marie Hall; grandchildren, Misty, Dana, Kaylena and Emily; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Brett Meeks officiating with burial to follow in the Burketts Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
