Obituary of David Thomas Jr.
Guild, Tennessee – Mr. Larry David “Lurch” Thomas Jr., 46, passed away Thursday May 18, 2023, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident near New Hope, Tennessee.
He was born in South Pittsburg, Tennessee on July 9, 1976, to Larry David Thomas Sr. and Theresa Kay Smedley Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John F. and Earlene Graves Thomas and Charles and Rhoda Jones Smedley.
He is survived by his parents, Theresa Thomas and David (Karen) Thomas; long time friend, Lisa Kilgore; sons, Tyler (Angel) Cloud. Isaiah and Miciah Thomas; daughters, Mariah Thomas Prince, Mia and Willa Thomas; brother, Chris (Lindsey) Dalton; grandson, Sawyer Cloud; nieces Jade and Ava Dalton
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at the Ladd’s Chapel Church of God in Guild, Tennessee with Minister Lloyd Harvill officiating with burial to follow in the Ladd’s Switch Cemetery.
Visitation: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Monday at the Ladd’s Chapel Church of God, 200 Ladd’s Switch Road, Guild, Tennessee.
