Whitwell, Tennessee – Mr. William Harold “Bill” Lockhart, 61, passed away Wednesday June 28, 2023, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.   He was born in Bangor, Maine on March 9, 1962, to James Harold Lockhart and Cecilia Smith Lockhart who preceded him in death along with his sister, Brenda Lee Olters; brother, David Eugene Lockhart.

He was a member of the Ironworkers local 704 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He is survived by his daughters, Keeli (Brian) Fox, Sale Creek, TN and Amber Lockhart, Sweetwater, TN; brother, James (Renita) Lockhart; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with minister Ernest Lockhart officiating.

Visitation: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday July 3, 2023, at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
