Palmer, Tennessee – Mrs. Amanda Renee Scissom, 47, passed away Sunday July 16, 2023, at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

She was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on April 25, 1976.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Glenn Allmon Jr., Sheila Gail Beaird Christian and Tommy Christian.

She is survived by her daughters, Torie (Blake) Scissom and Taylen (Trent) Hampton; son, Michael Bradley Rollins; sister, Lori (Jeff) Worley; brothers, Joe (Lisa) Allmon, Douglas (Brandice) Christian and Russell Christian; lifelong companion and father of her children, David Scissom, Jr.; grandchildren, Blaykeli, Truen, Brogan and Maggie Tatum; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday   in the funeral home chapel with Minister Matthew Meeks officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer, Cemetery.

Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
