Obituary of Jean Fults
Palmer, Tennessee – Mrs. Emma Jean Fults, 92, passed away Wednesday July 19, 2023, in Bonita, California. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on December 16, 1930 to Clayton and Lila Morrison Worley who preceded her in death along with her husband, Joe Willard Fults; brothers, Russell, Jim, Jack and Tom Worley.
She attended Griffith Creek Elementary School as a child and after marriage they moved to California. While living in San Diego California she worked in the aeronautical field. She and Joe moved back to Tennessee in 1971 to build two homes both in Gruetli Laager and Coalmont. She was one of the oldest members of Laager Independent Methodist Church where she attended faithfully for many decades.
Her beauty, kindness, and love for everyone is felt by so many who are blessed to have known her.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Julius) Hoffer, grandchildren, Shawna (Mike) Bottom Harr and Jason (Rubi) Bottom all of San Diego, California; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Sherry King; several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Matthew Meeks and Larry Crabtree officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.
Visitation: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
