Obituary of Juanita Worley

 Palmer, Tennessee – Mrs. Juanita Worley, 84, passed away Sunday August 20, 2023, at the home of her niece in Hixson, Tennessee.  She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on February 11, 1939, to Gordon and Ethelene Smith Crabtree who preceded her in death along with her husband, Carl E. Worley.

She attended the Laager Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Rocky (Heather) Sloan and Jeff (Lori) Worley; sisters, Lucille Roberts, Joan (Larry) Lamz, Minnie (Arlie) Mitchell and Kay Green; brothers, Martin (Joan), Jim (Shirley), Larry (Gayle), David (Darlene) and Danny Crabtree; grandchildren, Jordan, Shasta, Morgan, Sara, Lacey, Mariah, Michael and Shawna; great grandchildren, Lydia, Greyson, Sloan, Piper and Ariah; caregiver, Connie Worley Ketchersid; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Matthew Meeks officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.

Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
