Tracy City - Mrs. Oma L. McNabb, 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home. She was a member of the Tracy City First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Oma was a cook at the Palmer Elemetary School for many years also living in Palmer most of her life. She was born in Coalmont, Tennessee, July 23, 1917 to Jessie Will and Nancy D. Nunley James who preceded her in death along with her husband, Marion "Soap" McNabb; daughter, Rebecca Gibbs; sisters, Oda Roberts, Minnie Sanders and Beatrice Nunley; brothers, Albert, Emmit, Laden and Marvin D. James. She is survived by her daughters, Marion (Bobby) Guyear, Monteagle and Marie Savage, Gruetli-Laager; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Danny Coffelt officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.
