Palmer - Mr. Stanley Thurman King, 57, died Monday November 18, 2013 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Tennessee. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on August 11, 1956 to Eugene and Ovie Beatrice Fults King who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Pearl Keener King; step-son, Joe (Alicia) Elledge; sisters, Linda (Gary) Sutherland and Viola King, McMinnville, TN, Sandy (Billy Joe) King, Palmer, TN, Opal (Earl) Walker, Spencer, TN and Jenny (Eddie) Hatfield, Rock Island, TN; nieces and nephews, Steve (Amanda) Sutherland, Viola (Trey) Smith, Felisha (Jim) Borne, Joe (Kim) Sutherland, Stanley J. (Lora) King, Josh (lacey) King, Diane (Wayne) Tennpenny, Leeda Hatfield, Kyra (Mike) King, Amanda (Keith) Smith; several great nieces and nephews; 1 great great nephew.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Dean Northcutt officiating with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
