Beersheba Springs - Mrs. Nelma McGee Sullivan, 84, passed away Sunday December 1, 2013 at NHC Nursing Home in McMinnville.
She was a member of Philadelphia The Baptist Church.
She was born in McMinnville on May 18, 1929 to William Beecher and Ollie Coppinger Wanamaker who preceded her in death along with her husband and father of her children, G.W. McGee; husband, Horace Sullivan; brothers, Clifton, Conard and Glen Wanamaker; sisters, Beatrice Hillis, Hazel Argo and Pauline Campbell.
She is survived by her sons, Sanford McGee of Sewanee, Tennessee and Greg McGee of McMinnville, Tennessee; grand daughters, Dara McGee and Pattie (Jason) Nunley; great grandchildren, Kross Vanhoosier and Urijah Nunley; loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Philadelphia Cemetery, 283 Philadelphia Road, McMinnville, in Grundy County with The Rev. Battle A. Beasley officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Beersheba Springs Medical Clinic, PO BOX 112, Beersheba Springs, TN 37305
Visitation: 4:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
