Palmer - Mrs. Melinda Carol "Lindy" Layne, 52, of Cleveland died suddenly Friday December 27, 2013. She was born in Punta Gorda, Florida on June 5, 1961 and grew up in Palmer. She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Lindley Long Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Teddy Layne and Bo Thomas; mother, Carol Meeks Long; companion, Mike Evans; step-daughter, Tiffany Layne; sisters, Cindy Morrison and Tonya Davis; 4 step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Funeral services 1:00 PM Friday at Palmer Cemetery with Minister Phillip Fults officiating.
Visitation: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses.
