GRUETLI-LAAGER - Betty Jean Hart Gholston, 78, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at her home. She was a member of the Gruetli-Laager Church of God. She was born on June 26, 1933 to Parker and Hazel Levan Watts who preceded her in death along with her husband, Harry Hart; 2nd husband, Ralph Gholston; daughter, Diana Hart; sisters, Louise Mitchell and Peggy Ruth Watts; brothers, Willie, David and Parker Watts, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Joanice (Mike) James and Janie Ann (Jerry) Gass; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jamie) James and Jerrica Gass; great-grandson, Bryson Matthias James; brother-in-law, Herbie (Bonnie) Hart; sisters-in-law, Clara (Stanley) Partin, Katherine King, Olean Hart, Kathy Watts and Alice Caldwell. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Willard Griffin and Bro. George Kilgore officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Friday and 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee
