Palmer - Mr. Martin Charles Morrison, 79, died at his home Thursday January 30, 2014. He was retired from the Carrier Corporation and was a US Army veteran. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on February 9, 1934 to Lee Robert and Pearl Layne Morrison who preceded him in death along with his wife, Dorothy Privett Morrison; son, Robert Lee Morrison; grandchildren, Gavin and Taylor Dykes; brother, Edward Morrison.
He is survived by his son, Larry (Kathy) Morrison; granddaughters, Jamie Dion Morrison and Natasha Michelle Anderson; great grandchildren, Alexis Dion and Raven Storm Dykes, Jacquelyn Dorthy-Jean Anderson and Arabella Jo White, Logan and Quade Anderson; sister, Elaine Higgins.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee with Military Honors being given at 4:30 PM by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
