PALMER - Pauline Ward Rogers, 86, of the Cagle Community, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was born in Palmer on April 06, 1925 to Oscar, Sr. and Gertrude Green Ward who preceded her in death along with her husband, Benjamin Hade Rogers, Sr.; daughter, Teresa Leona Rogers Tate; son, Gary Joel Rogers; daughter-in-law, Geraldine Layne Rogers; sisters, Jeanetta Couch, Dorothy Ruehling and Frances Morgan; brother, Clay Ward. She is survived by her son, Benjamin Hade (Patricia) Rogers, Jr.; daughters, Brenda (Earl) Grimes, Delia (Bobby) Sherman and Evelyn (Jack) Long; daughter-in-law, Mary Rogers; sisters, Opal Brown, Ida Mae Pickett; brother, Oscar Lee Ward, Jr.; grandchildren, Tammy (Jake) Pusuer, Michael (Cheryl) Grimes, Sammy (Kelly) Sherman, Melissa (Chris) Giles, Travis Sherman, Eric Rogers, Angie (Eric) Green, Jackie (James) Kilgore, Chris Rogers, B.J. Tate, Sara Rogers, Rosie Rogers, Christy (Barry) Grooms, Melinda (Scotty) Sweeton, Lisa Kilgore and Alex (Jaime) Kilgore, Jennifer, Michael, Dale Jr. and Bruce Long; 37 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronnie Partin and Bro. Riley Anderson officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN
