ALTAMONT - Robert Allen Dickerson, 68, went home to be with his Lord Friday, April 11, 2014. He was a US Army veteran, a 30 year member of Iron Workers Local # 704 and he attended Gruetli-Laager Methodist Church. He was born on August 17, 1945 to Clarence and Alma Scott Dickerson who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Betty Sherman Dickerson; sons, Robbie (Selena) and Ronald (Traci) Dickerson; grandchildren, Sherye, Alissa, McKenzie and Kameryn; brothers, Gene and William Dickerson; sisters, Victoria Clendeneon and Geraldine Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 Monday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Micah Roberts, Jacob Anderson and John Potts officiating with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery with Military Honors by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
