GRUETLI-LAAGER - Mrs. Etta Lee Carrick, 93, passed away Monday, February 27, 2012 at her home. She was born in Gruetli on July 23, 1918 to Hiram and Minnie Howell Nunley who preceded her in death along with her husband, Thomas Chester Carrick; great-grandson, Brady McCullough; brothers, Monroe, Arthur, June, James and Howard Nunley. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Turner, Betty (Danny) McCullough, Wanda Layne, Ramona Smith and Etta (Jimmy) Payne; grandchildren, Billy (Kyra) Campbell, Stephanie (Brad) Creighton, Danny L. McCullough, Tyler (Meredith) McCullough, Alesha (Brandon) McDonough, Bryan Layne, Jill (Aaron) Meeks, Jamie (April) Payne and Whitney Payne; 8 great-granchildren; several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Orange Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee
