Obituary of William Henry Meadows

Coalmont - Mr. William "Bill" Henry Meadows, 78, Passed away Wednesday July 16, 2014 at his home with his family at his side. He was retired from the Carrier Corporation and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 483 in Morrison. He was born in Tracy City, Tennessee on August 2, 1935 to Charlie and Cora Kilgore Meadows who preceded him in death along with his grandchildren, Dusty and Kacie Jones; sisters, Hester Champion and Virginia Scott; brother, Harly Kilgore. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Daphine "Possie" Meadows; daughters, Beverly (William) Jones and Darlene (Estel) Knight; son, Billy (Brenda) Meadows; brother, James Meadows; sisters, Maudie Trussell and Rosa Edwards; grandchildren, Lori (Jimmy) Dodson, Brian (Judy) Meadows and Chip (Heather) Jones; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; special four-wheelin and fishing friend, Johnny Wiggins Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Clayton Jones officiating with burial to follow in the Coalmont Cemetery.
