Gruetli-Laager - Mr. Mark Dwain Brewer, 61, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. He was employed by the Grundy County Highway Department for 31 years as foreman. He was a member of the Sewanee Lodge #405 F&AM at Tracy City, OES #266 Tracy City Chapter and the Scottish Rite Bodies of Chattanooga. He was born in Chattanooga on December 22, 1952 to Ernest Grady and Edna Marie Crabtree Brewer who preceded him in death along with his son, Christopher Allen Brewer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Morrison Brewer; brothers, Kenneth and Terry Brewer; loving mother-in-law, Patsy Burnett; a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Sunset funeral services will be 7:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Danny Coffelt officiating with burial to follow in the Brown's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Friday. Masonic and Eastern Star services beginning at 6:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. Online condolences at www.laynefuneralhome.com
