McMinnville - Mr. Bobby Gene Meeks, 58, passed away Friday November 14, 2014 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville. He was born in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee on October 29, 1956. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Meeks; sister, Janice "Jan" Meeks.
He is survived by his mother, Geneva Conry, Smithville, TN; wife, Donna Craven Meeks; sons, Toby Meeks, Bobby Meeks, Tim (Patricia) Kilgore and Robbie Kilgore; daughter, Holly Meeks (Danny) Achlin; step-daughters, Tanua (Bobby) Dennis, Jennifer and Tiffany Vernon; 22 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Bruce (Wanda) Meeks, Howell (Cindy) Meeks, Chuck (Carolyn Bouldin) Conry; sisters, Chris Bray, Kay (Wayne Moore) Anderson and Lisa Conry Casady.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. wwwlaynefuneralhome.com
