Altamont - Mr. Carl Junior Caldwell, 67, passed away at his home Saturday November 29, 2014. He was a US Army veteran of Vietnam. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on August 8, 1947 to Marcus Caldwell and Myra Jeanetta Layman Caldwell Scroggins who preceded him in death along with his sister, Treva Lois Bean.
He is survived by his sisters, Anita (Tony) Campbell, Liz Ryder, Delta (George) Burkowitz and Linda (Larry) Burnett; brothers, Ray (Joyce) Caldwell and Larry (Lisa) Myers; loving step-father to Lorie and Wendy and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Dal Barrett officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery with Military Honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
