Gruetli-Laager - Mrs. Sharon Annette York, 56, passed away Sunday December 28, 2014 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in Whitwell, Tennessee on September 28, 1958. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Rollins; brother, David Rollins; sister, Sandi Hicks. She was a devoted Christian.
She is survived by her husband, Terry York; mother, Betty Layne; daughter, Amanda (Robert) Norris; sons, Jeremy (Alissa) and Jason (Amanda) Meeks; step-children, Terry Lee York, Jr and Christie-Ann Scott; sister, Connie Meeks; half-sister, Tonya Higginbottom; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wayne Norris officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Monday and 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
