I have known, and loved Sheila, since about 1973 and reconnected with her when she moved back to Florida a few years ago. She was a very dear friend; who once commented “Isn’t it strange how we can go for years without seeing each other and then just pick up where we left off?” I will always remember her as a very kind, sweet woman who loved her Lord, her family & her friends. During her last stay in Florida, I was blessed to go with her to several visitations to folks who were “shut-ins.” One couple, whose husband battled depression, was especially thankful for the visits. His wife said that when people visited, they would always visit with her, but most ignored the husband as they never knew what mood he would be in – she said, “I can’t thank Sheila enough for always taking the extra time to making him feel accepted too.” Sheila was an original and I am so thankful that I was a part of that original's life! She will be missed, but what joy in knowing where she is and knowing that she is now experiencing TOTAL PEACE! To her family I would say to hold tight to the precious memories of Sheila and hold tight to our Lord Jesus – He will bring you more joy than can be imagined. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 In His Service, Jane Hatfield
